This bench is in good condition. It is original to the Georgian era being made from a lovely antique pine. The bench has been painted about 40 years ago as it has been signed. The paintwork is a lovely black, red and green colour.
This bench would look well in an old or modern property in any downstairs room for seating purposes and can comfortably seat 3 to 4 people.
The bench stands on lovely shaped legs supporting the main section. It is extremely strong and sturdy even though the legs do look very simple. The seat leads to beautifully shaped arms and a lovely open back rest with dowle uprights.
