This cupboard is in good condition. It is made from original Georgian/Victorian doors with a handmade carcass. The doors are in their original paint and the carcass has been painted to match the doors. This is truly stunning! It is very heavy so I will require you to have two strong men to take the cupboard off the van from me. I will have a set of piano wheels that you can use for 5-10 minutes (obviously the piano wheels will not work on pebble drives etc). I am prepared to help if you can only find one person.
This cupboard would look well in an old or modern property in any room for any type of storage purpose amongst similar painted shabby chic furniture. It would look particularly well in the ultra modern kitchen that are generally white / grey and black as a wow factor free standing item of furniture.
This cupboard stands on a square plinth supporting the main section where there are two large doors. The doors have a small square fielded bottom panel leading to a square grilled middle panel and then a larger grilled top panel that is beautifully shaped. Behind the doors there are shelves for storage and the shelves are fixed. The space between the bottom shelf and the next one is 56cm and then another 62cm and the top shelf is 74cm. The internal width is 101cm and the internal depth is 40cm. There are small wooden turned wedges that keep the doors closed. The top has a standard graduated cornice. The paintwork is a racing green with crackled glaze.
The height is 212cm, the width is 113cm and the depth is 50cm.
