This cupboard is in good condition. It is made from original Georgian/Victorian doors with a handmade carcass. The doors are in their original paint and the carcass has been painted to match the doors. This is truly stunning! It is very heavy so I will require you to have two strong men to take the cupboard off the van from me. I will have a set of piano wheels that you can use for 5-10 minutes (obviously the piano wheels will not work on pebble drives etc). I am prepared to help if you can only find one person.
This cupboard would look well in an old or modern property in any room for any type of storage purpose amongst similar painted shabby chic furniture. It would look particularly well in the ultra modern kitchen that are generally white / grey and black as a wow factor free standing item of furniture.
This cupboard stands on a square plinth supporting the main section where there are two large doors. The doors have ten small sunken panels. Behind these doors there are shelves for storage and the shelves are fixed. The space between the bottom three shelves is cm and the top shelf is cm. The doors have metal handles and there are small wooden turned wedges that keep the doors closed. The top has a standard graduated cornice with a carving beneath. The paintwork is a lovely yellow with crackled glaze.
