This box is in good condition. We have professionally stripped and restored it and then waxed it in a lovely antique brown bri wax giving it a stunning patina.
This box would look well in an old or modern property in any room for any type of storage purpose amongst similar antique pine furniture.
This box stands on bracket feet supporting the main section. There are two large drawers to the bottom. The drawers have their original brass drop handles, are pine lined and have dove tail joints. Above the drawers there are three fielded panels. To the sides there are also panels. The top is in good condition and lifts up with its original metal hinges. There is a candle box to the left side with three small drawers beneath.
We have hand stripped this enabling it to have its original green / blue paitnwork inside which is a lovely feature even though it was a alot of work!!!!
