This stool is in good condition. It is typical to the 1930s era being made from a lovely walnut. This is a rolls royce of a footstool. I have never seen one of such good quality so please bid with confidence.
This stool would look well in an old or modern property and can be used for many purposes whether it be used for a stool for a dressing table, for sitting at a piano or a footstool etc.
This stool stands on lovely ball and claw feet which are particularly well carved. The feet lead to lovely queen ann style cabriole legs supporting the main section. There is the most wonderful carving to each leg and a lovely central motif. The upholstered seat is in total original condition. One can easily get it reupholstered etc as it is a lift out lid.
The height is 50cm, the width is 61cm and the depth is 48cm.
